As a part of educational strategies, teaching strategy is one of the important things for teachers to get an effective teaching-learning process. The teachers can look for references from anywhere to determine appropriate teaching strategies to use in class through various sources, not only from books but also from a movie. There is an interesting movie called The Ron Clark Story which tells the experience of a teacher turning his students who have various problems in learning to be the best by implementing his teaching strategies. This study focused on analyzing this movie to identify the students’ problems and what strategies are used by the teachers to solve students’ problems. There were four research questions in this study. The first question of the research was what the students’ problems in learning found in The Ron Clark Story movie. Second, what the teaching strategies used by Mr. Clark to solve the students’ problem in terms of selecting teaching methods. Third, what the teaching strategies used by Mr. Clark to solve the students’ problem in terms of selecting learning sources. Fourth, what the teaching strategies used by Mr. Clark to solve the students’ problem in terms of classroom management. This research was included in qualitative research. The method used in this research was content analysis method. The content analysis method was used in this study since the data in this study were presented in the form of dialogues, transcripts, and pictures taken from the movie The Ron Clark Story that represented the scenes related to the students’ problems in learning, and the scenes showed teaching strategies used by Mr. Clark to solve the students’ problem in terms of selecting teaching methods, selecting learning sources, and classroom management. The results of this study indicated that there were six problems faced by students, namely high anxiety, negative self-esteem, bad attitude, family relationship problems, unsupportive classroom conditions and poor achievement. Furthermore, to solve those students’ problems the teacher conducted teaching strategies in term of selecting teaching methods, selecting learning sources and classroom management. There were six teaching methods, namely lecture method, question and answer method, drill method, demonstration method, assignment method and simulation method. While in term of selecting learning sources, it was found two kinds of learning sources, namely humans (people) and media. Besides, in term of classroom management there were six ways namely arrangement of students, organizing the study room, enforcing rules, avoiding poor enforcement, punishment and appreciating the students. Those combination of teaching strategies reached the teacher goal to solve the students’ problems
