English Education Department. Faculty of Education and Teacher Training. State Islamic University of Sayyid Ali Rahmatullah Tulungagung. Advisor: Arpinda Syifa’a Awalin, M. Pd. Keywords : Perception, Canva Visual Features, Learning Media, Worksheet The growth of technology has been utilized in human life, including the educational field. The use of technology has made the teaching and learning activity become more enjoyable. Learning media have this huge engagement with technology. One type of learning media or teaching aids is a student worksheet or also known as a worksheet. Teachers can utilize canva as the tool in making worksheets. Canva is one of the applications that we can utilize in an educational environment. Due to preliminary data that was gained through survey to English students batch 2021 at UIN SATU Tulungagung, indicates that English students were mainly using canva as supporting tool in creating worksheets for their assignment in English Course Book Development Subject. Therefore the researcher wanted to find out about the perception of English students toward canva visual features in helping them to create worksheets. The formulation of the research questions are (1) What are the use of icon , font and template as canva visual features in making worksheet as visual learning media (2) What are the students’ perception toward icon , font and template as canva visual features in making worksheet as visual learning media . The subject consisted of 18 students who had made a worksheet with canva for their midterm assignment on English Course Book Development Subject. Researcher used interviews and documentation as instruments in this research. Data analysis in this research was data condensation, data display, and conclusions. The results and analysis of the interviews showed that the students gave positive perception toward the visual features on canva used by English student in creating learning media especially worksheet, These perception were categorized as follows: 1) icon give flexibility in creating worksheet 2) icon effective in presenting attractive worksheet 3) Font present readable worksheet 4) ease of access to various font style 5) Template create inviting and attractive worksheet. However there were also negative views toward the use of font, icon and template since some features required them to pay, so that English students couldn’t get a chance to explore a whole feature in icon, font and template due to this policy. However canva still provides hundreds of icon,font and template that are useful in creating worksheets.
