Kata kunci: Correlation, Habit in English Conversation, Speech Ability Speech is expressing thoughts in the form of words addressed to many people. To learn speech, students must practices speech English. English conversation is a good habit to help the students practice their English speech. The students may practice their fluency and self confident in English speech. The objective of this research are: first, to find out the students’ habit in English conversation. Second, to find out the students’ English speech ability. Third, to investigate the significant correlation between students’ habit in English conversation and their speech ability at tenth graders of MA Darul Hikmah Tulungagung. This study is a correlation research. The research design of this study is quantitative research. The population of this research was the students of the tenth grade at MA Darul Hikmah Tulungagung that consist of four classes and sample of this research is the students of class X A IPA which consist of 35 students. The sampling technique used is cluster random sampling. Meanwhile, the instrument of this research is questionnaire and documentation of value test. The researcher use Spearman Rank SPSS to calculate the data. The result showed that the coefficient correlation between two variables was 0.422. Therefore, it can be concluded that there is a significant correlation between students’ habit in English conversation and their speech ability at tenth graders of MA Darul Hikmah Tulungagung.
