ABSTRACT Puspitasari, Frisca. NIM. 17203163147. Moral Values Reflected in “Frozen” Movie Directed by Jennifer Lee. Thesis. English Education Department. Faculty of Education and Teacher Training. State Islamic Institute (IAIN) of Tulungagung. Advisor: Dr. Erna Iftanti, S.S., M.Pd. Keyword: Moral, Value, Frozen Movie A moral value is something that the researcher tries to convey to the readers. Moral value also can teach us to be good people better than before. People who have good morals, they will have a good life also. The researcher was interested in analyzing moral value in the Frozen movies because this movie is life action. Frozen is the one of Disney movies that is ever famous and has a lot of moral values for the audience. Disney’s animated movies are popular and children often watch this movie continuously. The formulation of the research problems of this study are: (1) what are the moral values reflected in the “Frozen” movie? (2) Which are the moral values from this movie are important to learn? The aims of this study are to find out: (1) Moral values which are reflected in the “Frozen” movie. (2) The importance of moral values which can be learned in the “Frozen” movie. This study was conducted by using content analysis with library research method. The technique of data collection is note taking. Data verification of this study is using triangulation. The results of this showed that moral values that found in Frozen movie are honesty, bravery, peacefulness, loyalty, responsibility, respectfulness, love and affection, not selfish, kind and friendly, self-control, confidence, humanity, carefulness, good consideration, sorry and apologizing, patience, hard work, helping other, cheerfulness, share, and cooperation. Then The importance of moral values which can be learned in the “Frozen” movie are bravery, self- confidence, helping other, love and affection, responsibility, patience, and hard working. The importance of moral values in this movie is reminding the audience to be good people from good characters in the movie and reminding the audience that bad people will be losers in the future.
