Key words : Teacher strategy, Student Motivation, Teaching English The teacher's strategy is one that supports students' success in English learning. The teacher's strategy is a plan carried out by educators in order to achieve a certain goal properly and maximally in accordance with the goals to be achieved. The strategy used by this teacher will influence students' learning. The importance of tachers’ strategies to improve student motivation in Learning English. The focus of this research are: (1) What strategies are used by English teachers to improve students' motivation to learn English at Mts Al Huda Bandung Tulungagung (2) What is the contribution of the strategies used by teachers to students' motivation in learning English? The aims of this study were: (1) To explain the English teacher's strategy in improving students' motivation in learning English at MTs Al Huda Bandung. (2) To explain the strategies used by teachers contribute to students' motivation in Learning English at MTs Al Huda Bandung. The research design in this study is a qualitative descriptive method. The subjects in this study were 2 English teachers and several students. This study conducted observations, interviews, and documentation as data collection methods. Data analysis in this study is data condensation, data presentation and drawing conclusions. Data from the study show that: (1) The strategy used by English teachers to improve students' motivation in Learning English at Mts Al Huda Bandung Tulungagung is that the teacher applies several aspects such as applying objective explanations of learning, creating a comfortable classroom atmosphere, using IT and rewarding activities, giving praise. (2) The contribution of the strategies used by teachers to students' motivation in learning English. First, students are interested and enthusiastic about learning English with the use of media, second, students feel valued and enthusiastic about learning English by giving prizes, and third, students feel comfortable when learning English, so they follow the lesson quite well by making the class atmosphere fun.
