Advisor: Dr. Erna Iftanti, S.S.,M.Pd.Keywords:E-Learning, teaching learning reading comprehension.Nowdays, using technology is requires to support English teaching learning, becausethe increasing of technological development. However the teacher still used teacher centeredas a method in teaching learning English language. So the students underdeveloped about theusing of technology and they didn’t exited and feel bored when teaching learning process inthe classroom, so this can be challenges for teachers how to solve the problem. Therefore, theresearcher interested to conducting the research at MTsN 2 Probolinggo.This research focus on: 1) How does the teacher use E-Learning media in MTsN 2Probolinggo?, 2) What is the teachers’ best practice of using E-Learning to teach reading?This research used descriptive qualitative research. The data sources in this researchwas English teacher in MTsN 2 Probolinggo and student seven D class at MTsN 2Probolinggo. In analyzing the data in this research was used Miles and Huberman involvesthree steps, they were: data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing. While,techniques of collecting the data were: observations, interviews, and documentations. To gainthe trustworthiness the researcher applied methodological triangulation.The result of the research are: 1) The process of teaching and learning readingcomprehension using E-Learning at seventh graders of MTsN 2 Probolingoo, especiallyseven D class, there were several steps : the schools’ operator make an account for theteacher and ID number for the students to login E-Learning, the teacher shared the ID numberto the students in the classroom for accessing E-Learning, the teacher shared the learningmaterial to the students using E-Learning, the teacher explain more detail the learningmaterial and help the students to answer the question if there were students still didn’tunderstand the text, the teacher ask the students to read the text one by one, the teacher gavetask making video reading a text to the students and making group discussion for present thetext that have given by the teacher to the another group. 2) teachers’ best practice in teachingreading comprehension is the teacher using scaffolding strategies in teaching by helping thestudents to answer the question that students did not understand about the learning material inreading a text, but the teacher lead the students to solve the problem by themselves slowly. Soteacher can adapt the learning material based on the students’ potencies. Then, students moreeasy to understand about the learning material which can give significance achievement forthe student
