Ramadhani, Nur Azizah. NIM. 17203173049. “The Implementation of Project Based Learning in Merdeka Curriculum for Teaching English at SD Islamic International School PSM Kediri”. Thesis. English Education Department. Faculty of Tarbiyah and Teacher Education. State Islamic University of Sayyid Ali Rahmatullah Tulungagung. Advisor: Dr. Moh. Basuni, M.Pd. Keywords: Project Based Learning, Teaching English. This research is conducted focused on implementation and students’ perceptions towards Project Based Learning at SD Islamic International School PSM Kediri. The The significance of this research are as follows; 1) to know the implementation of project based learning at SD Islamic International School PSM Kediri, 2) to know the weakness and strength from the implementation of project based learning in merdeka curriculum for teaching english at SD Islamic International School PSM Kediri. The researcher used case study qualitative research. The data sources in this study are; 1) English teacher 2) fifth grade students 3) complement, such as paper guidebook and photos. The result of this study shows that project based learning that implemented at SD Islamic International School PSM Kediri is in the form of menu. There are 6 steps, they are; 1) Introduction, which consist of asking essential question 2) Project Planning, which consist of the procedure of making the project 3) Determining the schedule of activities to decide the duration and the deadline 4) Monitoring the students’ progress in making project 5) Assessment, which consist of individual and group assessment 6) Evaluation, which consist of revision. While according to students’ perception towards the implementation of Project Based Learning at SD Islamic International School PSM Kediri, they said that it gave them benefits. The benefits is in the form of improvement understanding Menu and Price material of English lesson.
