In this research used theory based on Yule (1996:54) states that directives are those kinds of speech acts that speakers use toget someone else to do something. In addition, the utterances can be included in directive acts are ordering, requesting, advising, and suggesting. From the result of the study, it revealed that findings there are four kinds of directive acts consist; [1] Ordering [2] Requesting [3] Advising [4] Suggesting. From that terms, the researcher found 7 of ordering, 8 of requesting, 11 of advising, 7 of suggesting utterances. For the second result which is Barack Obama products the most dominant kind of directive acts is advising utterance because in speech there are many supporting criteria from the paradigm case advising and the other reason which is the speaker gives that kinds directive acts utterance so much.
