Keywords: Sociolinguistics, Code Mixing, YouTube The development of technology influences the use of more than one language in communication or share the Information. The people mix their language with other language. Mixing one language with other language, in sociolinguistics is called code mixing. The use of code mixing becomes common in social media. Sometimes, the people mix their language to share the information in social media. One of social media to share the information is YouTube. The phenomena of code mixing also happens in one of YouTube channel namely Nessie Judge. Thus, this study focuses on code mixing occurs in Nessie Judge YouTube channel. The statements of the research problem in this study are: (1) What are the types of code mixing used in Nessie Judge YouTube channel? (2) Why are codes mixing used in Nessie Judge YouTube channel? The objectives of this study are: (1) To find out the types of code mixing that used in Nessie Judge YouTube channel, (2) To find out the reasons of code mixing that used in Nessie Judge YouTube channel In this study the researcher used library study with qualitative research and the researcher as the instrument of this study. The object of this study was Nessie Judge YouTube channel. The sources of the data were two videos in Nessie Judge YouTube channel. The data of this study was all of utterances that contain of code mixing. The researcher collects the data use note taking method. The result of this study shows: (1) The types of code mixing found in the videos of Nessie Judge YouTube channel are: intra sentential, intra lexical, and involvement in a change of pronunciation, (2) The reason why codes mixing found in Nessie Judge YouTube channel are: talking about particular topic, being emphatic about something, repetition used for clarification, and expressing group identity and solidarity
