The research instrument used by the researcher was test (pretest-posttest). The researcher was used IBM SPSS 20.0 Statistics to analysis data. The finding showed significant differences between the result of pretest and posttest. The mean of post-test scores (79.10) was larger than the mean of pre-test scores (67.10), the different mean is 12.00. It means that the student score is increasing from previously. The student achievement was getting better based on T-test analysis used by the researcher. The score of tcount compared with ttable gotten was use SPSS 20.0. Tcount 17.061 and by using degree of freedom (df) = 19. The finding showed that sig-value was 0.000. an sig level 0.050, we know that sig value was less than 0.05 (0.000<0.050). Thus, there was enough evidence indicating that the null hypothesis could be rejected and alternative hypothesis (Ha) is accepted, and it could be concluded that using Facebook group was effective to increase students’ writing skill in descriptive text for second grade students at SMP Aswaja Kunir.
