The Correlation Between the Frequency of Using YouTube and the Students’ Learning Motivation to the VA Graders Islamic Elementary Students’ at Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Jati Salam Gombang Pakel Tulungagung. Advisor: Dr.Arina Shofiya, M.Pd Keywords: correlation, using youtube, motivation This research is about the correlation of using YouTube and students learning motivation. In the modern era like now, it has become commonplace to use YouTube everywhere, including by Islamic Elementary School Students. The massive use of YouTube makes researcher want to know whether there is a correlation between the frequency of using YouTube and students’ learning motivation, especially at MI Jati Salam Gombang Pakel Tulungagung. The formulation of the research problems were : “is there any correlation between frequency of using YouTube and students learning motivation at MI Jati Salam Gombang Pakel Tulungagung?” . The objective of this research is to find out The Correlation Between the Frequency of Using YouTube and the Students’ Learning Motivation. Research method: 1) this research focused on students’frequency of using YouTube and students learning motivation. It employed the quantitative approach with the correlation method in this research, 2) the population of this study was all students of MI Jati salam gombang pakel Tulungagung, 3) the sample was Vª class consisting of 28 students, 4) the research instrument was questionnaire, 5) the data analysis was using SPSS with spearman Rank Correlation. The finding is, there a correlation between the frequency of using YouTube and students learning motivation. This can be proven by the results which show the correlation coefficient showed a significant value of 0.012, meaning that the significant value in this study was <0.05 so Ha was Accepted and declared correlated for the correlation coefficient value was 0.470, it can be concluded that it has fairly strong level of correlation. Meanwhile, the results of the Validity and Reliability test of the instrument show that all statements from the variables frequency of YouTube use and student learning motivation have a calculated r value > table r value (0.6319) so it can be concluded that all statements from the two variables used in this research are declared valid. The reliability test for both variables shows Cronbach’s Alpha values of 0.969>60 and 0.944>60, so it can be concluded that both variables are reliable.
