Keywords: Educational Value, Movie, Soul Movie Education is now a primary need for all of society, meaning that everyone must always seek and obtain education throughout their life. Education itself is defined as the process of improving a person's ability to live and survive. Nowadays education can be obtained from anywhere and at any time. For example, we read novels, magazines and watch movies. Movies have the ability to influence society because they teach moral, social, educational, cultural, and other values. Soul is a film that has educational value. The problem in the Soul movie is formulated in two ways: (1) What are the educational values found in Soul movie? (2) How are the educational values presented in Soul movie? According to Elmubarok (2008), which says that the value of education is the spirit of education, so that wherever the value of education is taught, it will appear by itself. This study aims to classify and describe the educational values found in movies. The aim of this research is to analyze educational values and describe the educational values presented in the Soul movie. Researchers use qualitative methods in this research because this method makes the research more relevant. The research design used by researchers is library research, where data is collected from all literary works related to the research. Library research is a source of literature or literary works used to collect and analyze data. To obtain data, researchers carried out several actions. First, researchers chose the film Soul and watched it several times. Then, write a transcript of the dialogue in the film and write notes that contain educational value. Then, researchers collected and read various pieces of literature about the value of education. Finally, the researcher classified the data based on the type of educational value, then made conclusions about the analysis. The results of the analysis show that there are eleven educational values, as follows: the value of being include honesty, brave, peace, confidence and potential, discipline and moderation, and purity. While the value of giving is loyalty, respect, love and affection, not selfish, kind and friendly, fair and humanist.
