Keywords: Project-Based Learning (PjBL), Congratulation Card, Writing skill English writing is an essential skill for students to express ideas and communicate effectively, but many 8th-grade students at MTs Aswaja Tunggangri face difficulties in mastering writing. These students often lack confidence and ability in writing, although they demonstrate strong creativity. To address this gap, the researcher implemented Project-Based Learning (PjBL) through congratulation card creation. This study aims to examine the effectiveness of Project-Based Learning (PjBL) through the creation of congratulation cards in enhancing the English writing skill of 8th-grade students. This research applied a quantitative approach using a pre-experimental one- group pre-test and post-test design. The participants were 18 students of class VIII-A at MTs Aswaja Tunggangri. Writing tests were used as the instrument for both pre-test and post-test. The collected data were analyzed using descriptive statistics and paired sample t-test through SPSS version 27. The aspects assessed in writing included content, vocabulary, grammar, and mechanics, with scoring based on an analytical rubric. The results showed that students' writing skill improved after the implementation of PjBL. The average score increased from 54.51 in the pre-test to 77.77 in the post-test. The descriptive statistics revealed better performance in all writing components. Additionally, the paired sample t-test analysis indicated a statistically significant difference between students' scores before and after the treatment. Based on the findings, it can be concluded that Project-Based Learning (PjBL) through congratulation card creation is effective method to enhance students’ English writing skill. It also encourages creativity, active participation, and motivation, making it a recommended strategy in the context of the Merdeka Curriculum and student- centered learning environments.
