ABSTRACT AyuVerawati, Ika. Student Registered Number. 2813133052. 2017. Educational Values Reflected in “The Miracle Worker” Movie. Thesis English Education Program. Institute Islamic College (IAIN) of Tulungagung. Advisor: Dr. Erna Iftanti, S.S., M.Pd. Keywords: Educational Values In educational world there are many kinds of manner that used to convey education itself. One of the manners that can be used is watching literature. Movie is the one of literature that can be used to convey education. The Miracle Worker movie is the one example of movie that can be used in education process. In this movie there are some educational values which can take to apply in educational world. Education value that include in this movie taught us how teacher effort when taught her student. In this study the one research question to be analyzed. The problem is “what educational values are reflected in“The Miracle Worker” movie?” The purpose of the study is to describe what the educational values reflected in “The Miracle Worker” movie. In writing this thesis, the writer conducted a qualitative research to answer the question that presented in the research question. There are two kinds of sources that used in this thesis. The primary source obtained “The Miracle Worker” movie. The secondary source obtained from the books or articles related to the theories and other sources are from the internet. Based on the analysis, the results of this study are as follows. The writer can conclude there are some educational values found in The Miracle Worker movie, there are religiosity, discipline, hard work, creativity, independent, curiosity, appreciating achievement, friendly, like to read and sociality.
