Advisor: Dr. Nurul Chojimah, M.Pd Keywords: Teachers’ Strategies, Teaching Listening, TikTok Video Listening is an important skill to learn and improve when learning English because it is a medium of communication. Students must have good listening skills in order to listen effectively. Teachers who teach listening must be more creative and innovative. They should use strategies that help students understand and enjoy what they are learning. Teachers must make good strategies to achieve long-term learning activities. Selection of the right strategy allows teachers and students to achieve learning objectives. The purpose of this study is to identify and investigate teaching listening by using TikTok at SMP Muallimin Wonodadi Blitar. The formulation of the research problem were: 1) How does the teacher prepare in teaching listening by using TikTok at SMP Muallimin Wonodadi Blitar? 2) What are the procedure teaching listening by using TikTok at SMP Muallimin Wonodadi Blitar? 3) What are the supporting and inhibiting factors in teaching listening by using TikTok at SMP Muallimin Wonodadi Blitar?. The researcher conducted a qualitative descriptive approach. The data collection technique was carried out by participatory observation, the researcher participated directly in the learning in the classroom. Then, researchers conducted semi-structured interviews with English teachers who taught using these strategies, and complemented research data with other documentation. This research used thematic analysis to analyze the data findings. Based on the findings and discussion, it can be concluded that in teaching listening using TikTok the teacher starts by preparing three things, namely the preparation of lesson plans, teaching materials, and finally learning media. Second, the teacher implements listening learning using TikTok with steps according to students' abilities, the teacher applies the top-down method in teaching listening using TikTok with three steps, namely the first step previewing, the second step while viewing, and the last step post viewing. Finally, in the process of teaching and learning to listen using TikTok, there must be supporting factors and inhibiting factors. In this study, there are three supporting factors, namely ease of finding learning resources, ease of teaching tools, and student enthusiasm. In addition to supporting factors, there are also three inhibiting factors, namely power outages at school, difficulty controlling student attitudes, and difficulty managing teaching time.
