Keywords: English, speaking, activities In the global area, English was very phenomenon that used most of people in the world. Especially in speaking, English used to communicate each other. As students, we know that speaking English is very difficult language to study; we should search the new vocabulary and using many activities to support our speaking go on fluently. Based on the problems students’ in speaking ability, the researcher is interested to find out the Activities Supporting Student’s Speaking Proficiency of Girl Student’s Cottage at Islamic Modern Boarding School of Al Islam Nganjuk. The formulations of the research problem were: “what are the activities to improve the speaking proficiency go on fluently?” The purposes of the study were “To find the activities to improve the speaking proficiency go on fluently”. Research method: 1) the research design in this study was triangulation with qualitative approach, 2) the data source of this study was girl’s students of the cottage in Islamic Modern Boarding School Al-Islam Nganjuk, 3), the research instrument was there are two techniques of data collection method that are commonly used in qualitative inquiry they are interview, and documentation. The result of the study; students can improve their speaking ability by all of the activities in speaking such as VolSa (Vocab Santri), Muhadhoroh, Mudhoharoh, Study Club and LG (Language Generation). The activities also support them to become confidence in any situation because they have an experience about the language. If they have had graduated from this school, they will enter into a field of activity that together with society, so they must study well about English anywhere they lived.
